
Contributions to H&I Santa Cruz are used to bring the message and tools of Alcoholics Anonymous to individuals still suffering from alcoholism in corrections and treatment facilities.
Although the distribution of H&I funds may vary by a percentage point or two from year to year, 100% of pink can H&I contributions are used in the following manner in 2024
14% for the purchase of AA-approved materials for distribution at no charge to individuals inside corrections and treatment facilities in Santa Cruz County.
8% for security and background clearance for Santa Cruz County volunteers to carry the message into correctional facilities
76% Sent to Northern California Hospital and Institution Committee to carry the word to corrections and treatment facilities in Northern California.
2% to pay for Santa Cruz H&I Committee meeting facilities and website hosting.
The Santa Cruz H&I treasurer provides a public report of finances during the H&I Committee meeting held the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. This meeting is open to the public.
