Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in your recovery journey and in the lives of others? Santa Cruz County Area 73 H&I invites committed individuals with at least six months (for treatment facilities) or one year (for correctional facilities) of sobriety—and a solid working knowledge of the Twelve Steps—to volunteer as Secretaries, Coordinators, or Visiting Sponsors. Whether you’re drawn to support residents at Driftwood, Redwood Grove, Santa Cruz Residential, The Cove at UCSC, or one of our local correctional facilities, your service will bring hope where it’s needed most. H&I offers full support—including orientation, clearance, and reimbursement for background check costs—so you can focus on doing what you do best: carrying the message. If you are interested in any of the above service positions, please complete the H&I Volunteer Interest form and let’s partner in service to transform lives together.
